My first Inspiration board; Noel's Christmas Presents

This is my first inspiration board (well not really inspiration for this one but it's my first one) and to get started I thought I would do one of the fantastic wedding I did for Claire and Chris for Noel's Christmas Presents which has been airing on Sky 1 this Christmas.


I was approached back in August and finally the TV production company got the go ahead at the end of September - giving me five weeks to organise a huge wedding for 85 people.


It all came together brilliantly with lots of excellent suppliers.


I will write a proper blog on this wedding over the Christmas period but as a taster here you go.

Supplier Feature; Douzo Gift Lists

DOUZO was set up in September 2010 by two friends, Melita and Matt.  We were frustrated that we didn’t have enough flexibility to ask for what we wanted on special occasions.  We were tied to one or two big stores or we had to make an impersonal request for cash.  So we made a list service with no restrictions on what you can list.

You can mix any type of gift.  Include items from any store, site, or stall.  Collect contributions towards something special, or even ask for pledges of help that might cost nothing but still mean a lot.  You make your list personal and budget-friendly.    It’s easy to set up a list.  It’s easy for friends and family to pick a gift and know that their choice is welcome.

As well as using a list for wedding presents, you can use one as part of your preparation.  How about listing all the jobs that people can help with and use DOUZO to track who has signed up for what.  What about coordinating the props and plans for your hen or stag do?  We enjoy seeing how creative people are being with their lists.
