Supplier Feature; Box Clever Wedding - Favour Cake

This pretty quilted purse display is a great way to have your favours displayed especially if you have large buffet tables this one is of 18 quilted purses each one stood on its side with a dusky pink rose attached, then tied with a pretty 3mm rose pink ribbon then the whole display wrapped in gorgeous ribbon, you could fill these with several chocolates for your guest, each purse measures 85x30x65mm.

To create the spiral of the stem is simple just wrap the wire stem around a slim knitting needle or similar implement then slide off, if you curl it too tight just tease the end out to elongate, these roses were attached with a smudge of hot glue from a glue gun, use a hexagonal box for the centre piece to give your cake its shape, tie a couple of ribbons around the whole display into a nice bow, to stop the ribbon slipping down the display use pearl headed pins.

I used a doughnut shaped plate cut from cardboard for the bottom of the cake and attached 3 strips of ribbon to it feeding through the centre hole and attached them to the outside of 3 sides of the hexagon centre box, the ribbon on top of the hexagonal box serves as a decoration and a way to lift the whole display in one go. This design can be built for you or we could provide a DIY kit and as usual it can come in any colour design you like to coordinate with your whole wedding. These cute quilted purses are only 30p each so very affordable, there are a few different designs like this that lend themselves to this type of design, DIY kits for this design start from as little as £12 so your wedding need not cost the earth!

Supplier Feature; Lil’Guy Wedding Stationery

When  I was getting married in 2008 I decided to make my own invitations as I wasn’t particularly impressed with the standard or cost of ones I’d seen.

Having received many compliments on them from our guests I decided to start www.lilguy.co.uk  as a business running alongside my day job.

The invitations are usually the first indication your guests will get as to what kind of a wedding you are having, whether it’s going to be a lavish formal occasion or a more relaxed one.

I use top quality and unusal boards, Grade A rhinestone buckles and embellishments, genuine Swarovski crystals, gorgeous ribbons and flowers to create different designs and styles, and it gives me great pleasure when couples receive their order and are thrilled with it!

At the end of September this year I was made redundant from the day job and am now running my own business full time.

There is no large company or franchise, you get my individual attention!  If you would like to discuss your requirements or get a quote I can be contacted by:
